NHL Lock of the Night

Last night the Bleu Blanc et Rouge took care of business against the Flyers to give me a 2-1 record so far on my locks.  Now it’s time to prove that was no fluke.

Tonight look for the LA Kings, who are an underdog, to take down the Dallas Stars.  The Kings are 5-2-1 and travel to Dallas to take on the Stars who are 7-2 to start the season.  Many people expected the Kings to be this good, but the Stars?  Not so much.  Kari Lehtonen has played great for the Stars but I am not sure if that will keep that up all season.  The Kings have the hottest goalie in the NHL with Jonathan Quick.  He has 3 straight shutouts and actually sat out their last game when the Kings lost 3-0 to the Devils.  So he still has his shutout streak going heading into tonight.  Don’t look for another shutout but he should have no problem keeping the Stars in check.  The Stars have relied on guys like Steve Ott to generate offense, and they should come back to Earth soon.  Keep an eye on Anze Kopitar who is one of the best players in the NHL.  He and Mike Richards should generate enough offense to give the Kings a W in Dallas.
