NHL Lock of the Night

TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING (-105) at Carolina Hurricanes

Right now I’m on a two game losing streak with these so-called “locks”.  If I lose one more, I might have to turn the reigns over to Meegsyclause before he goes on his 4-day Buffalo bender this weekend.  So tonight I’m going to be looking for the Lightning to strike down the Hurricanes.  That play-on-words doesn’t really work, but whatever.  It’s the battle of mother nature tonight!  Right now the Lightning are the better team, going 4-1 in there last 5 games.  Dwayne Roloson recorded a shutout for Tampa in their last game and hopes to regain some stability to their goaltending situation.  Carolina goalie Cam Ward has not faired well against the Lightning in his career either, sporting a 3.00 gaa in 16 games.  Earlier this season, Tampa traveled to Carolina and won 5-1, so I look for them to come out with plenty of confidence against their division rival.

Season Record (3-3)
